This is the blog of David Miller, a Teacher Training Instructor currently living in Daejeon, South Korea. The website was initially set up to focus on work completed during a period of research, but over time the writing has become much broader in scope and ambition(s). What is posted here - as and when it appears - will be snippets of work in progress or occasional pieces that would otherwise never see the light of day. The focus is generally on what has come to be known as 'linguistically innovative' writing, although this isn't exclusively the case. Whatever I post up here is geared towards an appreciation of what Joan Retallack has called 'uncertainty, incompleteness and turbulent complexity'. If this seems like a mouthful then I think it would be easier to say the blog is interested in identifying 'honesty' in twenty-first century art forms, especially when they are founded in the turmoil of social struggle.
